Teresa Guerard, LMHC; Attachment Services of Central Florida

My name is Teresa Guerard. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of attachment issues. Attachment problems occur when the child’s basic needs are not met consistently in a timely and appropriate manner during the first few years of life. As a result of this maladaptive treatment, a child develops a faulty belief system, or internal working model. For the child with attachment disorder, their internal model has become: I trust only myself – adults cannot be trusted; the world is a dangerous place so I must be in control of everyone and everything in my environment in order to feel safe; and there is something inherently wrong with me that caused my birth mother to not love and care for me in an appropriate way. As a result of this belief system, the child’s decision making process becomes: I will do whatever I have to do to get what I want, regardless of the consequences to myself or others. I have been doing this work for over 20 years and I look forward to working with you and your family at Camp Attach!!!

Paul Holder, Therapeutic Parent & Facilitator & Parent Coach; Palmetto Pines Team Building

I have dedicated over 25 years to working with families, children, and youth. Whether serving as a Youth Pastor, Facilitator, Camp Director, or Coach, my focus has always been creating environments of trust and connection. I believe in purposeful fun, teamwork, and hands-on experiences that spark attachment, growth, and laughter.
Outside of camp, I enjoy life with my family of six, traveling, baking cookies, and coaching lacrosse. I also consult with businesses and churches, helping them design and facilitate results-driven meetings that are effective, efficient, and engaging—always rooted in connection and fun.
Anne Yoder-Groff, Motivational Speaker & Respite Provider, adoptee; Heart to Home Respite
Hi! I’m Anne Yoder-Groff. I live in Georgia with my husband and our one-year-old son. As an adoptee, I understand firsthand the profound impact of early trauma and disrupted attachment—and I also know the resilience, beauty, and hope that can emerge through healing.
I currently serve as a Team Leader at Camp Attach, where I’ve been volunteering since I was 18. Sharing my story is something I value deeply, and I’ve had the privilege of speaking at a variety of events over the years. My passion is to help others feel seen, supported, and encouraged on their own journeys toward connection and wholeness.
Above all, I hope to help keep the hope for healing alive.
